π Harvest Moon
A cute farming simulator that was unique at the time for lacking violence and has an interesting GUI. The first one in the series is great to play and to see where it all started.

π Final Fantasy Tactics A2 – Grimoire of the Rift
A nice turn-based strategy game with lots of customisation options. Focussed on casual gamers but has plenty for the hardcore too.
Virtual Pets
π Tamagotchi Gen 1
The first virtual pet and arguably the most famous one. Still fun to play today with several forms giving it good replay value. Good to see where it started, with several concepts still used in virtual pets today, as well as keeping it simple.
π Hitorikko Puppy
A cute and simple pet that is easy to play and works off the clock. The sprites are nice and big too. Still fun to play today with several forms giving it good replay value. I love dogs so highly recommend the puppy, but other Hitorikko pets are probably just as good.
