This game always looked a bit childish and too cartoony for my taste. Drawing your own game objects also seemed gimmicky. But eventually I picked this game up for cheap and gave it a try. And I was pleasantly surprised! While I was expecting a side scrolling platformer where you draw your own game objects, I also found a top down, pseudo RPG town building aspect in the game, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pixel art in the game is also surprisingly great with funny characters.

I enjoyed the TV series of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The games always looked a bit too childish to me however. But when I found this game for super cheap, and realised Tose worked on it (who also worked on some of my favourite Dragonball games), I decided to give this one a shot. I realise the game also came out on GBA, PS2, Wii and XB360, but will specifically talk about the DS version here (there are differences between the GBA, DS and console versions!)

This game always intrigued me. I like point-and-click games, an interesting story, puzzles and anime style, so this game was one I always wanted to play. When my boyfriend moved in with me and we joined our game collection, I had to try this one out.
